Are you a postmastectomy lymphedema patient looking for a pain free solution to provide relief?
Lymphedema affects and negatively impacts the lives of many postmastectomy patients across Australia.
More than 15% of all breast cancer patients and survivors face the challenge of having to cope with the consequences of developing lymphedema with most cases presenting 2-5 years post surgery.
For patients with lymphedema, the most common treatment approach is to reduce swelling with compression and massage therapy and/or diet modification. These methods may provide short term relief but what if there was a non-invasive, long term solution?
RianCorp has developed a handheld medical device to treat lymphedema and provide relief to patients all across the world. The LTU-904 uses a low level laser treatment (LLLT) to soften the fibrous tissues which relieves the fluid build up. It will not burn, does not hurt and you can treat yourself in the comfort of your own home.
Backed by clinical trials and results, the LTU-904 is the ONLY laser device cleared by FDA for lymphedema treatment.
Ongoing lymphedema can be costly which is why we provide the option of renting or purchasing a device to use at home. For more information please get in touch by completing the enquiry form or call us.
Some lymph nodes located in the underarm may be removed during breast cancer surgery or are treated with radiation therapy. Some of the lymph vessels can become blocked, preventing fluid from leaving the area.
When lymph fluid then collects in the arm or other areas causing swelling or edema, lymphedema occurs.
Lymphedema can occur right after surgery or radiation, or months or even years later but in most cases it presents 2-5 years later.
“As a practicing lymphedema therapist I strive for star quality in my work. I strive for excellence and love a good challenge. When I was first introduced to the RianCorp LTU-904 laser therapy unit, I was somewhat skeptical that the intractable pain I personally experienced would cease. Well I was wrong……after my chronic pain acquiesced, I could not be happier. I believe the effectiveness of LLLT for treating a variety of articular, soft tissue, neural and lymphedema conditions is the latest healthcare technology to give the patients I treat the best care possible.”
